I woke up this morning unaware of what the day would bring. All I knew was that I was going out of college, and possibly getting Modern Warfare 2 today. If it's released the same time in Malaysia and in the US.
A few things happened today. First, was that I finally got an offer from Warwick. I finally received an email from UCAS saying that my track profile was updated. At first I thought Leicester finally forwarded the details to UCAS, but after logging in I saw the status for Warwick changed. I was so happy! I finally got Warwick! Now that just leaves Cambridge and Durham. And by the way, I still don't know what my requirements are for Leicester, even after receiving an email from them saying that they are offering me a place.
Then after class, Jordan messaged saying he bought L4D2 for me and him. I'm going to preload it this weekend. Then I started packing my stuff because I have to leave college next week. Yes, it's been a year already. Amidst the packing, I got cheated by someone *Ahem*.
All went well, Noel came pick me up. Then we unloaded, then proceeded straight away to the shopping mall to get the long awaited MW2! The arduous journey took 40 minutes, but we made it! Noel walked so fast I had to break into a slow jog just to keep up. We made it to the store and made our purchases! Hehehe! After 2 long years of patient waiting, I finally have it. :D In fact, it's being installed now.
On the way, Emir messaged that he already bought MW2. I was in the car, so obviously he beat me to it. But then Noel suggested we play a little prank. I messaged back saying I was half way done already. Emir was shocked and went like "WT*?", in message form anyway. Hahaha! I later told him I was lying then he replied "Hahahahah! Bugger......" While I was at the shop Emir even messaged me saying "It's awesome!"
Highlight of the week, my key broke in half, as you can see below. I don't know how it broke, I only found out it broke just as I was about to unlock my room.. Paid RM2 for a new key, and waited 2 days for it. 2 dangerous days...
For some reason, I feel very happy about today. The best days are always the days you expect to be normal. And I just realised that it's Black Friday today. Oh well, time to play MW2. Noel finished installing it on his desktop, big screen is way better than my puny 13"! Warfare awaits! Hoorah!
