Just like that, I can't believe 3 months has passed. The nerve wrecking wait for the VISA to come through the mail, and for the A-Level results, is finally over. Even my short holiday in UK is over, now it's just getting used to university life.
There are still some things to be settled in university before I can say I'm fully settled down, such as my bank accounts, clubs and societies, time tables etc. I'm still new and trying to find a steady routine for university life. Everything is so expensive here I don't even feel like using my money, yet I have to eat. Perhaps it's a good idea to have a set of pots and pans in my flat so I can cook food any time I want to. Will have to check with my parents about that first.
So far the people I've met are nice, so I guess it's okay. Still trying to get used to sitting in class and listening to someone talk again, I keep falling asleep when the lecturers were at the introductions to the course and stuff.
So far no real lectures have started yet, which is good I guess, letting us ease into it after our long break, which has caused our brain function to decrease, dramatically.
I've spent quite a lot on books, they are just so expensive! And I still haven't gotten them all yet.
There is much to explore about the campus, perhaps tomorrow when I have time I'll explore and hopefully have a mental picture of where everything is. Who knows what I'll find, gold perhaps?
I like the weather here though, its nice and cool. Maybe I'll take that back when winter comes, but until then, I'm still enjoying the weather, just don't like the fact that there is no fan in my room, can hear that high pitched noise. But it's cool enough..
Note to self, don't open window at night when sleeping.
