It's not like I never had lucid dreams before, but this is the first time that I didn't wake up after quite sometime of doing crazy stuff in my dream form. What stuff? Well..
Note that comments are things I add to tell you the story. Stuff in brackets are my thoughts during the dream.
[Reality]
I came back after class, the lecturer was so boring, I was so sleepy, so I decided to sleep. And as this shouldn't be surprising, I dozed off...
Okay, nothing unusual there right?
[Dream]
I woke up in my room, okay, nothing wrong there. I tried to turn on the lights, open the window. Hmm.. still seems dark, what the heck is wrong? Looks outside, nice and bright and sunny (just as I remembered it when I was awake), why is there so much stuff in between me and my window? Why is it in a narrow place roughly a few feet long?? Never mind, lets check my computer. Oh, there is a new game on steam! What's this, so many variations? Let's try playing one of them. Hmm, "Improve Your Memory", okay, lets try this one. Actually I right clicked on the game in the Steam library, and those mini variations of the game, like mini games appeared.
*Boots up the game*
I control a thing, a bit like Saurbraten like, yet looks like the round things from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, yet looks like BH from DotA. Anyway, carrying on. The interface is pretty much like Alien Swarm. Then I shoot, oh, it produces a small spark, the projectile bounces off the wall and produces the same effect. Then a voice goes something like:"Okay, now that you know bla bla bla (bla = things I can't really remember), try to navigate your way through this maze." Which to me sounds a bit like Portal. Okay, screw this I'm not wasting my time on this stupid game.
I quit.
[Comments]
Wait, how that did part of the dream go again? Well, unfortunately I can't remember. Now back to the dream, where I somehow or rather I appear in a field. Don't know how that happened? It's just a dream!
[Dream]
So I'm in this clearing in a field, it was dark(at night perhaps), which somehow looks so familiar. Oh! Guns in bubbles floating off the ground, lets walk through them, and hey presto, I have a gun(pistol actually)! Cool! Lets walk along this path with long grass at the side and see what happens! Oh my, minotaur like monsters (bigger than me, taller too) start chasing me once I get too close. I think they detected me. Never fear, let's just retreat, while facing them and start shooting! *Bam bam bam* It dies. Okay, so it takes 3 bullets. Let's go lure more of those things. Okay, so they take 3 hits to die (I actually thought about that in my dream). Let's walk over their bodies to see if we can salvage anything. Hey, I got a shotgun! Cool! It was more like I scrolled down (yes, my mouse wheel), and it appeared. Didn't actually bend down to pick up anything.
Okay, this is getting boring. So I turn around, and there is this abandoned village behind me. This seems familiar too! The houses were made of wood, and some of them were on fire which provided some light. So I start going in all the freaking building one at a time, sort of like MW2 style. I collect lots of ammo, then while inside one of the houses, I looked outside. Oh yeah, I found myself a sniper rifle. Let's see whats outside the window? *zooms*
[Comment]
I think at this point it's still dark, yet bright enough for me to see, like super bright moonlight.
[Still dreaming]
What are those officers doing in the field (another field that doesn't have long grass)? What are they looking at? So I turn to shift my view to the other end of the field. Oh, more army people, one of them has a .50 cal mounted to a jeep, wearing white I think he was. Then I go back to look at the officers. Then they started shooting! Then I looked back, hey, he's using the .50 cal to return fire. Then I look back again, (somehow they just came back into view, but I figured whilst I was typing this, that I must have turned my head without realising). Oh, a guy in a ghillie suit. I'm still in zoom-mode btw, so I decide to to shoot the guy in the ghillie. I aim the head, and fire, nothing happens. Weird. Aims the officer in the head, shoots, nothing happens. I reacquired the ghillie suit guy, shoot a few more rounds, but nothing happens. Maybe they're too far, my bullet succumbed to gravity before hitting their target. (This one I thought while dreaming too)
Since my bullets don't work, I thought I'd relocate. While walking to another building, I walked past some dummies, which then suddenly came to life. It turns out they were special ops people in disguise, standing completely still, as dummies, in this abandoned village. Then they start talking to each other, but they didn't shoot me, good thing. They then walked to another building where there were more of them, I followed them as well.
[Comments]
This is when it gets funny, I realised that I dreamt something like this before, which then made me realise this is a dream. And because I dreamt this before, I knew what was going to happen. But I decided to just follow to make sure first.
[Yes, I'm still dreaming]
Sure enough, as I predicted (in my dream, while dreaming), they betrayed one of their mates by locking him up in like a room or something, and left him there, I think there was lots of explosives inside and shit. I think. Anyway, I leave the building first, and go outside. I thought to myself, since this was a dream, let's try something. I went prone behind a corpse of some guy (I think its a corpse anyway) which I assume died from the fighting before, and when they came out, I shot them all, with an MP5 which was I picked up earlier, I think. Maybe I scrolled down my weapons tab and saw it there? Back to the story, they somehow didn't die instantly as if there was a lag or something but they did after a few more rounds.
Then suddenly a person suddenly appears beside me, I'm in a car, somewhere near enough that I can see the people I just killed, I think it's like an entrance or a gate beside or a farm gate where I just killed those people. The person asks if I can actually drive the car, is it safe etc. I said:" Yes, its a dream la! Don't worry =.=." Then just as I was about to drive off, those people I killed got up and walked away. Okay, so my guns didn't work. Never mind, lets drive!
[Comment]
The person is a guy btw. And at this point, I was fully aware I was dreaming.
[Okay, I swear this is almost the end. Still dreaming]
Then we end up driving down this road to a T-Junction, where he asks the same question, again. And I replied basically the same thing:" YES LA! This is dream =.=." At the T-junction, I remember saying:" Left is to the seafood place, right is to the golf club (Studley Wood I think, that was in my mind while I was dreaming)." Then I turned right and started driving. Mind you the place seemed like any other T-junction in the English country side.
In the end, I was driving this manual car, I think I was pressing the clutch half way, then tapping on the accelerator like how Noel drives out the Kiara Park back entrance, and then releasing once the car was fast enough, and flooring the accelerator, when I was taking a bend. *Vrooom vrrrooom* I remember changing gears, turning corners, all the while the person keeps asking me if I'm sure, and I keep telling him the same thing.
I was driving down this neighbourhood, half way down the road-
[Reality]
My alarm rings, and I wake up instantly. Thus ending one of the most vivid lucid dreams in my life. It was weird, the nap was only for like an hour. But it was cool though! Realising that I was dreaming while dreaming. Made the experience a whole lot more fun.
Here a relationship between occurences in the dream and real life.
1. I was chatting with one of my friends about Steam and the games he has in them.
2. One of my friends dreamt of something like this where he was in complete control with akimbo guns and shooting everyone.
3. The village house is sort of like MW1 where we save Nikolai.
4. The farm gate thing is sort of like those gates in the mission where you save Nikolai.
5. Saurbraten or how it's spelt is a game a friend recently introduced me to.
That's like all I can think of now. Still, it's pretty awesome to realise that you're dreaming and be in complete control!!

Back to reality now.
