It's been quite awhile, with all the partying and clubbing, whoooh~ You know, just can't seem to find time. After spending many mornings throwing up and surviving hangovers beyond your worst nightmares. I guess it's finally time for an update.
Whilst all of the above are not true, there have been some parties. Though I never seem to go beyond 10% of achieving the "highest" state possible for any occasion. Life has been good so far, I seem to be getting into a more productive mood now, everything seems to be settling down. With the Nottingham Games, and an industrial visit to Jaguar Cars looming, things just get better and better.
Below are some pictures, each with their own unique intricate story, portraying the past events that have occurred in the past few months, or they could just be random stuff. Like this one!
I live in Flat 4, you can still see it. This is the path I take to walk to class every morning. The leaves are dropping, and turning brown. They look very surreal, and nice!
Flat 1, Flat 2, Flat 3, and 4!
Last month, one third of our flat (one person is missing from below), went to a costume party where we had to dress up according to the letter associated with our accommodation, in this case, W for Whitefields. Screw you Westwood :P Hahaha.. *no insult intended*. So the majority of us, decided to go as a wed-wait-for-it-ding party! Note the word majority. Actually I was lazy and decided to go as a wedding crasher, but then all of us decided to go as a wedding party, which widened the number of options I had, since I don't have ANY costumes at all. I borrowed the suit from David by the way, not mine.
Left to right: James (Window cleaner), Gordon (Wedding guest), Me (Best man, I'm part of the wedding too!!), Robyn (Witch), David (Vicar, important part of the wedding), Gareth (Groom), Lizzy (Bride)
As always, some people just disappear half way through, and some appear! As you can see, there is a new face in the picture below. Her name is Jess. We danced (squirmed about) and partied (stood there and vibrated) till the sun came up (before 11.30 pm). And that's the story of the Rootes Alphabet Party.
Say cheeeese!! :D
Next up was Halloween! For the most part, was held in our own flat. We celebrated James' birthday which so happened to coincide with Halloween. :O Anyway, we had dinner (didn't bother to take a picture, but consisted of Tandoori chicken, some broccoli and carrots and rice). Then there was a cake! Smile!! The cake was pretty good too.
^_^ see the resemblance?
Birthday boy!
And the there is someone who I did not mention earlier, her name is Sheree, the one that looks like :P in the following picture. Carrying on. We ate cake, drank a little, and play post it or whatever it's called. The one where you put a note where a person/creature that is either ficticious or real and you have to guess who you are with only yes or no questions. That one. It was pretty fun.
Mmmm... booze! And buy 1 free 2 pringles!
A slightly more complete picture of our flat. By the way, that's Tom (in the white shirt between me and David), and Martin, in the grey jumper. Now we're just missing Hyemin and Gareth.
But was is Halloween without pumpkins? Take a look at our awesome pumpkin! The secret? I don't know the name of the device, so too bad. :P This video coincidentally proves that pumpkin innards do not absorb reddish-orangish light! The powa of science!!
Time to continue the partaeee! Oopps, I mean work. See ya! :)
